The top of page 5 has a photo of the Beatles who the following day would land in New York for their first American visit & to appear on the Ed Sullivan Show a few days later. The lengthy caption includes: "The bell-shaped hoods aren't beanies but black mops of hair belonging to the singing Beatles of Britain...a guitar-plunking, hip-pumping quartet..." with more (see). Somewhat difficult to find American newspaper accounts of the Beatles before their arrival at New York.
The complete issue, small binding holes at the blank spine margin, very nice condition.
