MOORE'S RURAL NEW YORKER, Rochester, June 16, 1860 

* Abraham Lincoln accepts presidential nomination
* Republican National Convention in Chicago


Near the back is a report noting: "The Republican nominee for the Presidency, Hon. Abraham Lincoln, as addressed the following letter to the President of the National Convention:..." with the letter datelines at Springfield, Ill., May 23 and beginning: "Sir: I accept the nomination tendered me by the Convention over which you presided..." with more, signed in type: Abraham Lincoln. A similar acceptance letter for the Vice Presidential candidate signed in type: H. Hamlin.
Eight pages, tabloid-size, ornate masthead, a few farming-related illustrations. There is also a nice print: "View of Taghanic Falls" [Taughannock] in Western New York.
