The front page contains a brief yet quite historic "Act of Congress relating to the change in the weight of the half cent and full sent, titled; "An Act to Amend an Act entitled, 'An Act Establishing a Mint & Regulating the Coins of the United States so far as Respects the Coinage of Copper". A very notable Act of Congress--signed in type by Geo. Washington, John Adams, and Thomas Jefferson--on the creation of our monetary system.
The balance of the issue has lengthy reporting fro Congress, with the bkpg. having two ads concerning the sale of lots in the new "Federal City" .
Four pages, a few stray marks, very nice condition.
