Scott be Sent to Allay the Secession Excitement?" and more
Page 7 has a report taking one-third of a column headed: "Interesting From Illinois" with subheads: "Great Rush of Visitors to the President Elect--Applications for Office--The Portrait of Mr. Lincoln".
Eight pages, minor browning at folds, generally nice condition.
