ARMY & NAVY JOURNAL, New York, Nov. 7, 1863 As noted in the masthead this was the: "Gazette of The Regular & Volunteer Forces" and as such is replete with military news of all sorts. Almost the entire ftpg. is taken up with: "The Military Situation" with war reports from various fields of action. Inside page reports include: "Engineering Operations of the Army of the Potomac", "Turreted & Broadside Iron-Clads", "Military Proprieties", "Successive & Rapid "Blows", "Items & Incidents", "The Coming Campaign of Gen. Grant", "A Cincinnati Spy" & other items.
Sixteen pages, 10 by 14 1/2 inches, nice eagle in the masthead, nice condition.
