Content includes a letter from General Hull, "Bad News From Detroit" which reports: "...the disagreeable intelligence that general Hull and all his army have been taken by the British--Particulars we have not." followed by another report; "Important Intelligence" which includes: "..."saw Gen. Clark in Washington who informed him he had seen the articles of capitulation & that gen. Hull had surrendered with 2,200 men without firing a gun...". Also: "Commodore Rodgers". The back page has: "North Western Army - Highly Important" which is a letter form Niagara which reports on Hull's surrender to the British General Brock. More as well.
Eight pages, 11 by 14 inches, never bound nor trimmed, minor archival mend at the spine, good condition.
