A great issue as the front page & page 2 contain 3 letters signed in type by: Isaac Hull, captain of the U.S. S. Constitution, concerning his action with the ship Guerriere. Included is a list of the killed & wounded from both ships after the Guerriere battle.
Also in this issue: "Frigate Essex" "History of the Campaign", n article beginning: "The frigate Constitution in her late engagement was wounded in her masts and captain Hull came in to repair..."; an article beginning: "Glory! glory! glory!..."; and other items.
Eight pages, 11 by 14 inches, never bound nor trimmed, archival mend at the blank spine, good condition.
