FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Feb. 22, 1890 Includes a fullpg. print: "The Free Library Building Presented by Andrew Carnegie to Alleghany City", but the prime feature of this issue would be the many Colorado prints including a great full page: "Manitou Springs, Colorado" (see) which shows this small town nestled at the foot of Pike's Peak. There is a brief related article on another page. Plus another fullpg. with 7 vignettes of: "Colorado--Properties of the Grand River Coal & Coke Company" and a fullpg: "Colorado--View of the Aspen Mining & Smelting Co." and a fullpg. of: "The Houses, Streets & Industries of Aspen, Colorado" and a fullpg: "Views in Colorado Springs, the Popular Mountain Resort of Colorado" (see).
Another fullpg. print: "The Opening of the Sioux Reservation in South Dakota..." plus two full pages with 11 vignettes of "The Grand Festival of the City of Springfield (Ohio)...".
