Inside the issue is a double-page "March of the Army of the Potomac Towards Richard's Ford, Rappahannock River, Under General General Burnside, Interrupted by the Storm of Wednesday, January 21"; 2/3 top of double-page "The War in Arkansas - The investment of Fort Hindman, Arkansas Post, by the Union Troops Under major-Gen. McClernand, and Its Bombardment by the Union Gunboats, Commanded by Rear-Admiral D. D. Porter, Jan. 11"; and three additional illustrations "Shattered Appearance of a 9-inch Dahlgren Gun, in the Principal Cashmate of Fort Hindman, Arkansas Post."; The Sinking of the U. S.
