BANATER BEOBACHTER, January 7, 1943 A very rare German newspaper from Banat, a region in Central Europe currently in portions of Hungary, Serbia, and Romania. Within the masthead is: "Honor, Blood, & Soil", with: "Fight Journal of the German Ethnic Group in Banat and in Serbia." All text is in German.
One of the front page headlines has (translated): "The Axis Powers In Strong Settings, Excluding Surprises".
Complete in 6 pages, 11 by 17 inches, a library label in the masthead & some penciled notations at the top, cleanly cut at the spine, good condition.
