Page 2 has a continued article titled: "Thoughts Upon the African Slave Trade" which takes 3 columns. The back page has reports which include: "The elections for the state of New York...impossible to ascertain the list of the members for their convention...the constitution will be considered by able & candid politicians...many in the New York convention who have expressed a desire for the adoption...no doubt of seeing that near neighbour & sister state adding her respectable name to the new confederacy. Then will all be included from Massachusetts to Maryland. The same circumstances & considerations render the adoption by Virginia equally probably. South Carolina appears certain..." with more (see).
