The front page has: "Assassination Of Truman Foiled In Gun Fight Outside Blair House; Puerto Rican Plotter, Guard Die" with related subheads including: "Awakened by Shots, He Sees Battle in Which Three Are Wounded". Included is a dramatic photo showing the assassin lying dead at the bottom of the steps to Blair House.
Also on the ftpg: "Bernard Shaw, 94, Does In His Home" with a subhead and a one column photos headed: "Playwright Dies - George Bernard Shaw". The article continues on page 28 where are found several photos of him (see).
Complete in 64 pages, this is the "rag edition" printed on very high quality newsprint for institutional use. Minor margin wear, generally nice.
