Among the small, page 2 column heads: "Various Assassination Matters" "Jeff. Davis" which begins: "What a pity that Jeff Davis is not caught! The country needs at least one example, and if he were caught I suppose that he might be tried here & hung on Capitol Hill...". Also: "How the Government Treats Traitors".
