Page 2 has a report noting: "...Capt. Wilmot died some days after; and the Winchester standing off and on between the Bahama Shoals and Cape Florida, had the misfortune to run ashore on the rocks called the Maertiers, lying to the northward of that cape, where she was lost, but all the men saved by the rest of the ships; who afterwards put into Virginia and sailed again from thence the 7th of November..." (see).
Single sheet, 7 1/4 by 11 3/4 inches, wide margins, great condition.
