Page 2 includes a letter from London, reporting from the House of Commons, which cuts to the heart of the troubles between America and England, noting: "...following motion was made...That it is the opinion of the Committee that when the governor...of any of his Majesty's provinces or colonies in America shall propose to make provision, according to the condition, circumstances & situation of such province or colony, for contributing their proportion to the common defence...and shall engage to make provision also for the support of the civil government & administration of justice in such province or colony...to levy or to impose any further duty, tax... for the regulation of commerce..." with more (see).
Four pages, folio size, slight dirtiness, generally nice.
