NEW YORK TRIBUNE, Dec. 8, 1862  The front page features a large map headed: "THE POSITION OF EASTERN VIRGINIA" showing from Norfolk to Staunton (see images). Among the one column heads on the ftpg. are: "Operations in Western Virginia", "A Rebel Camp Surprised & Captured", "No Loss on the Union Side", "Destitute Condition of the Rebel Army", "They are Barefooted and Naked", "A Few Shots Scatter the Rebels", "Cowardly Brigadiers in Washington", "Glorious News From Mississippi", "Occupation of Grenada, Miss., by the United Forces", "Flight of The Rebels" & more.
Eight pages, never bound nor trimmed, some foxing & staining.
