THE ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS, England, April 19, 1845 Page 4 has two prints on the "Inauguration of President Polk", one showing the: "Approach to the Capitol" and the other: "The Oath" with related text.
Given this event precedes any illustrated newspapers in America, this London issue is the first periodical to include a print of a Presidential inauguration.
Sixteen pages, very nice, clean condition.
