GENTLEMAN'S MAGAZINE, London, March, 1752  Among the various articles of interest in this issue are: "Plan of the New London Hospital" with a drawing of it (see photo), a continuation of: "History of the Incas of Peru" "Benefits Arising from Inoculation" "An Exact Representation of a very Remarkable Meteor seen in North America" with  a diagram of it, "A...Description of an Artificial Ebbing & Flowing Well..." with a half page illustration of it, and more. 
Near the back is the "Historical Chronicle" with news reports of the day.
Lacking is the "40 Baronets Arms engraved on Copper" as called for on the title page.
Complete in 52 pgs. with a full title/contents page & an engraving of St. John's Gate, 5  by 8 inches, nice condition.

A very nice pre-Revolutionary War magazine from the "mother country" with a wide range of varied content. This was the first periodical to use the word "magazine" in its title, having begun in 1731 and lasting until 1907.
