NEW YORK TIMES, April 3, 1917  The front page features a three-line banner headline announcing America's entry into World War I: "PRESIDENT CALLS FOR WAR DECLARATION, STRONGER NAVY, NEW ARMY OF 500,.000 MEN, FULL CO-OPERATION WITH GERMANY'S FOES" with related subheads. Much of the front page is taken up with the full text of the "President's Text" making the announcement.
Complete in 24 pages, small binding holes at the spine, various small margin tears, generally nice condition.
