HARPER'S MONTHLY, New York, a bound volume for December, 1874 to May, 1875  Perhaps the article in the volume is "New Washington" which includes not only 16 nice prints of Washington, D.C. from 1875, but also a very nice print of Frederick Douglass with some text on him as well (see).
But there are many other prints in this thick volume as well, accompanying articles titled: "The Concord Fight" "American Humor" "The Isle of Man" "Last Journals of David Livingstone" "Mechanical Progress" and more.
Complete in 928 pages, still has the outer wrappers bound in (very rare), tightly bound in red library bindings, spine having gold ink, both bindings & interior pages in very nice condition. Library stamp along the trimmed edges.
