The masthead notes: "Devoted to the Interest of Grand Valley and the Development of Fruit Culture in Western Colorado." A nice & very rare newspaper from this town in Western Colorado. Only one institution has any holdings of this title and they hold a total of just 3 issues, none with this date.
The front page has: "THE GREAT FIGHT" "Jackson and Corbett Meet in San Francisco Last Night" "A Well Contested Fight" "Both Men Displayed Good Staying Powers & Science"
Eight pages, archivally rejoined at the spine, quite nice but a bit fragile so it must be handled carefully.
