FRANK LESLIE'S ILLUSTRATED, New York, Nov. 22, 1890  The full front page shows; "Characteristic Sketches on the East River Front, New York City". Prints within include: "The Indian Craze Over the 'New Messiah'--Sitting Bull Seeks to Foment Disaffection Among the Sioux Bucks." and also: "Sitting Bull, the So-Called High Priest of the Indian Messiah Craze" with a related article. Other prints: "New Home of the Union League Club of Brooklyn" "The Hospital for the Relief of the Ruptured & Crippled...".
Near the back are prints showing Hagerstown, Maryland, Baltimore; Staunton, Virginia; and Marion, Indiana. Also a half pg: "The Potato Disease in Ireland."
Complete in 24 pages, minor & discrete archival mends at the right margin, nice condition.
