Quincy is a town of less than 2000. It started as a Gold Rush community just outside of Elizabethtown in Northern California. Elizabethtown started in 1852 and slowly dissolved and moved a mile away into American Valley to form Quincy after 1858. Quincy is named after the city of Quincy, Illinois, named in turn after John Quincy Adams.
The front page begins with: "A Moqui Snake Dance - Indians Dancing With Rattlers In Their Mouths - A Horrible Spectacle That White Men are Rarely Allowed to Witness...". Much more local news.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, some dirtiness to folds at the upper quadrant of the ftpg. only, good condition.
