FITCHBURG SENTINEL--WORLD SERIES EXTRA, Oct. 6, 1919

* Chicago White (Black) Sox
* Cincinnati Reds - World Series
* Black Sox Scandal in process (game 5)
* Pat Moran's hometown newspaper (rare)

This issue reports on the fifth game of perhaps the most controversial World Series ever played, called the "Black Sox" series due to the betting scandal involving several of the Chicago White Sox players (see hyperlink for more details).
The banner headlines of the front page boldly announces: "ANOTHER FOR PAT" with the box score in large type as well. The text is headed: "Eller Establishes World Series Strikeout Record" and the text includes an inning-by-inning account of the game.
Special note: the "PAT" in the headline refers to Pat Moran, manager of the Cincinnati team, and who was born & raised in Fitchburg! Hence, the personal "Pat" in the headline.
Additional coverage on page 6 with a banner headline: "Turbyville Says Sox Victory Makes Series More Serious Now" with other headlines and photos of seven players (see).
