Most of page 2 is taken up with the historic last state-of-the-union address of President George Washington, headed: "SPEECH of The President of the United States" and ending with his signature in script type: Geo. Washington (see). In this address to Congress Washington reflects both upon the accomplishments of the year and of his pending retirement.
Complete in four pages, light damp staining near the margins, very nice condition.
