THE CONNECTICUT COURANT & THE WEEKLY INTELLIGENCER, Hartford, Sept. 14, 1779  The entire front page has reports from the London House of Commons concerning the  conduct of the Revolutionary War in America, with mention of Lord Cornwallis, General Burgoyne, Sir William Howe, General Washington, and others.  One portion which has criticism of decisions made includes: "...at a time when...the General had thought proper to cross the Delaware, Philadelphia would have surrendered, and he would have been in possession of all Pennsylvania to New York and the Jerseys...The General, no doubt, had his reasons for his conduct...this step prevented putting an end to the war..." and more. Other interesting reading.
Page 2 has several reports of military action in the war Four pages, there are old tape repairs across the horizontal folds and the upper portions of the vertical folds causing some loss of readability. Never bound nor trimmed, some water staining & mild margin wear.
