Page 3 has most of a column taken up with news reports concerning the Revolutionary War taken from a letter from New York. A few items mention: "...a detachment...with a small body of West Chester refugees...marched from the Heights near Fort Knyphausen...in order to surprize or attack an advanced corps of the Rebel Army posted...beyond the White Plains..." with more on this further on is: "The cavalry were ordered to advance to endeavour to surround the house to obstruct a retreat...The proper dispositions were made for attacking them..." and more. This was the Battle of Young's House (see hyperlink for more).
