Page 2 has reports headed: "America" from a letter from Boston, including in part: "...an anonymous letter...to Gov. Bernard...speaks highly of Gov. Bernard but contains the most malignant insinuations against some respectable gentlemen in this town...speaks of deep & dark designs...an alliance to be formed between Holland & some of the colonists in order to throw off the dependence of the latter upon Great Britain..." with more (see). Another smaller item notes: "...from Philadelphia...The merchants are about signing articles not to import any more English goods...and there is no doubt of their abiding by them."
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, red tax stamp on the ftpg., very nice condition.
