This over sized issue measures 30 x 23 inches and has news of the day with several interesting advertisements. This normally 4 page issue contains an additional supplement leaf attached to it. The back side of this leaf has an article with small heading: "Tad Lincoln" which is a report on the death of Abraham Lincoln's son. A nice report here. In addition to the assassination of her husband, this was her third child to die, and it is believed the death of Tad contributed to her depression and being institutionalized.
