THE COUNTRY JOURNAL OR THE CRAFTSMAN, London, Oct. 7, 1732 

* Robert Wilks death & burial
* British actor & theatrical manager
* Theatre Royal, Drury Lane


The bottom of pg. 2 has a report that: "...the corpse of Robert Wilks, Esq., was carried form his late dwelling...Covent Garden, & decently interr'd in the parish church of St. Paul's Covent Garden..." Robert Wilks was a very famous & successful actor & theatrical manager, closely associated with the famous Theatre Royal on Drury Lane (see hyperlink).
Four pages, some chipping at margins, archival strengthening at the spine, good condition.
