* Rare 18th century title

Inside has a short bit noting: "Giles Philips...died at Pensacola in West Florida...None of the people this gentleman engaged in England to settle upon the land granted him in America are returned & 30 of them are supposed to have been drowned in their passage thither...". Another page has a bit concerning the "violent sickness & mortality" in Pensacola due to the yellow fever (see).  Another item has mention of America
Eight pages, red tax stamp on the bkpg., 9 by 11 1/2 inches, never-trimmed margins, some ftpg. dirtiness, generally very nice.
