Wall Street bombing in 1920....

Item # 629627

September 18, 1920

THE NEW YORK TIMES, September 18, 1920

* Wall Street bombing
* Bobby Jones wins golf tourney

This 28 page newspaper has a nice three line banner headline on the front page: "SEEK OWNER OF TRUCK THAT CARRIED BOMB TO WALL STREET; FISCHER, WHO SENT WARNINGS, UNDER ARREST IN CANADA; RED THREATS MAILED NEAR SCENE JUST BEFORE EXPLOSION" with several subheads (see photos) with more on page two. Great to have in this famous New York City title.
Also reporting in the sport's section on a golf tournament in Morris County New Jersey that was won by Bobby Jones (see images).
Other news, sports and advertisements of the day throughout. Light browning with little margin wear, otherwise good.
