THE SPRINGFIELD UNION, Massachusetts, February 1, 1967

* Astronaut Edward H. White laid to rest at West Point - 1st ever to "walk in space"
* Astronauts Virgil Grissom and Roger Chaffee buried at Arlington National Cemetery

The front page has: "Astronauts Laid To Rest At Arlington, West Point", which includes substantial text and a large photo. The coverage continues on page four, with additional coverage and another related photo. Note: Edward White, Roger Chaffee and Virgil Grissom were the Apollo 1 astronauts who were killed in the cabin fire during a dry-run of their upcoming launch. Edward White has the distinction of being the first man to "walk in space". A related report on the front page also has the account (with photo) of two additional men being killed in a similar cabin simulator in Cape Kennedy during additional testing only days after the Apollo 1 tragic inferno.
The issue is believed to be complete in 48 pages and is in very good condition.
