The bulk of the issue is taken up with a wide range of eclectic articles as noted in the title/contents page. Among the articles are: "Description of the Person of Christ, From Josephus" "New Account of the Patagonians" "Reflections on the Unbounded & Astonishing Scenes of Creation" "The Family Economy & Employments of the Gypsies" "Regulations of the Dutch Prisons" and more.
Near the back is: "The Gazette" with various news reports of the day including details of the funeral of Governor James Bowdoin.
Complete in 64 pages, full title/contents page, lacking the plate called for, 5 by 8 inches, foxing to the title page, very nice condition.

Eighteenth century American magazines are increasingly scarce in today's market. This title was published  by the famed Isaiah Thomas, the patriot printer from the Revolutionary War & founder of the American Antiquarian Society.
