Page 2 has a report on the Revolutionary War including: "...that Sir H. Clinton had driven Mr. Washington from Kingsbridge into the Jerseys to Morristown; that on Sir Henry Clinton's approaching Elizabeth-town, they fired upon his troops when he gave orders for the town to be burnt, which was immediately executed, & the army marched on to Havinsack-town in the Jerseys..." with a bit more (see photos).
Another page has more war news including: "...that Gen. Washington had broke up his encampments on the White plains, & had gone up the North river with 5000 troops to defend the eastern passage...that Gen. Clinton was preparing to follow him with a large force with intention of bringing him to an action." and a bit more (see photos).
The bkpg. has some more reports under the heading: "America" with reports from Philadelphia (see photos).
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, never bound nor trimmed, some minor foxing & edge wear. Generally nice condition.
