SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York, July 27, 1889  The front page has an interesting illustration of: "The Campbell Dirigible Air Ship Recently Lost at Sea" with the skyline of New York in the background. But perhaps the more interesting illustration is inside showing: "Dibble's Electrically Propelled Carriage", being a cross between an electric vehicle and a cable car, a proposal which never seemed to make it from concept to creation. Also of interest is: "Edison's Home Life", an interview with him in which he details his sleeping and working habits (see).
Sixteen pages, an old mend to the bottom of the front leaf, otherwise minor dirtiness, generally good.
