THE NEW-HAVEN GAZETTE & THE CONNECTICUT MAGAZINE, June 14, 1787 (in Roman numerals)  Page 3 has a brief letter from a surveyor in the "Western Country" dated at Fort Pitt.  Also an interesting letter from London concerning the Constitution, noting: "...Your federal government is a point of great difficulty & Importance...dread the thoughts of such a division of the states into three confederacies as you say has been talked of..." with more (see). Another pg. reports on Sam Adams being inaugurated as president of the state Senate, and another part notes John Adams being elected governor of Mass
Four pages, 8 1/2 by 10 inches, foxing throughout, minor wear at folds, good condition.
