CONNECTICUT JOURNAL & NEW HAVEN POST-BOY,  Nov. 5, 1773

All of the front page & a bit of pg. 2 are taken up with a continued article: "The Address to Americans on Slave-Keeping, continued". Page 2 has a report from Philadelphia concerning the Gaspee affairs, and also a report from Georgia mentioning: "...on account of the late rebellion of the Negroes up the rivers which makes it very dangerous as they cannot...attempt to cut any more mahogany...".
Page 3 has a report from Boston concerning the hated tea, just over a month prior to the Boston Tea Party, noting: "Capt. Scott was offered the Tea intended to be sent here, as were several captains of vessels for this port, but they all refused taking itd on board...not thought when he left London that the East India Co. would send any tea, fearing it would meet with a reception not at all to their advantage in America."
Four pages, handsome engraving of a post-boy on horseback in the masthead, never bound nor trimmed, good condition.
