Page 2 has a wealth of reporting on the historic Battle of Gettysburg (see photos) with some of the column heads including: "Description of The Battle of Last Friday" "Terrible Encounter' "The Rebels Thoroughly Beaten" "Complete Union Victory at Gettysburg" "Terrible Battle on Friday Last" "The Rebel Attack Repulsed at All Points" "Retreat and Pursuit of the Enemy" "The Slaughter Great on Both Sides" "The Recent Rebel Defeat" " "From the Battle Field" "The Rebel Army in full Retreat" and more. Also there is a short report: "Our Victory at Gettysburg" which includes a congratulatory address signed in type: Abraham Lincoln (see).
Four pages, large folio size, 2 very small holes affect a word or two, a few tiny & discrete archival mends at margins, nice condition. Folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
