The top of the front page has: "Abdication of Bonaparte" which includes his: "Declaration to the French People" which begins: "Frenchmen! When I commenced a war for the preservation of national independence...I had reason to hope for success and I have braved all the denunciation...My political life is ended..." with more (see).
Page 2 has report headed: "Second Abdication of Napoleon" which begins: "By several arrives from Europe the report in our last of the overthrow of Napoleon has been full confirmed..." with more, taking two-thirds of the column (see).
Four pages, light foxing, nice condition.
