The top of page 2 has an editorial: ":Secession of South Carolina" with the article taking one-third of the column. A notable report on the first Southern state to secede from the Union (see) which begins: "South Carolina by ordinance has declared her connection with the Union as dissolved...". Also on pg. 2 is reporting from: "The South Carolina Convention!!" And yet another notable article; "Important from Springfield" reporting on the reaction of Lincoln to S.C. leaving the Union (see).
Four pages, large folio size, rejoined at the spine, very nice condition. Folder size noted is for the issue folded in half.
