The front page has an uncommonly large & bold banner headline: "RUTH FINED, SUSPENDED" concerning Babe Ruth, with the report beginning: "Babe Ruth, home-run king, was swatted by Judge K.M. Landis, Baseball commissioners today. Ruth was fined his world series money share & suspended until May, 1922 for playing exhibition baseball after participating in the world series, in violation of national rules...". Beneath this report is a box: "Last Minute News" with a heading: " 'Babe' Ruth Cheerful" with the details, all in red ink.
Presumed complete in 20 pages, although the dateline notes 22 pgs. Small piece from an interior margin, a little margin wear, generally in good condition.
