The top of pg. 3 has: "Obituary" of the first Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, introduced as: "Died, on Sunday, the 17th inst. at Bedford in West Chester County, (N.Y.), the Honourable and Venerable JOHN JAY, at the advanced age of 84 years..." with much more, taking most of the column. Two very small wear holes hear cause loss of 3 words.
Four pages, some minor foxing, generally good.
