March 07, 1775

THE LONDON CHRONICLE, London, March 7, 1775

* Pre Revolutionary War tensions

Page 2 has a report from the General Assembly of New York which includes: "...the enemies of American cannot infer a disunion of the colonies..." and more (see).
Another page has a nice letter taking over a full column which includes in part: "...the American subjects ought not to have been required to bear any part of the American expence of the empire..."  and "...While the poor people of England are every year paying millions for the interest of a debt contracted in the defence of the Colonies, these Americans, far from contributing to lighten the public burthen, upbraid us with the weight of it; & their agents & advisers make the greatness of this debit a principal encouragement to support them in their rebellion..." with much more (see).
Other news of the day & ads as well. Some dirtiness to the front page only, complete in 8 pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 in., otherwise very nice.
