The front page features a large and very detailed map headed: "The Scene Of The Battle Before Richmond On Wednesday - Showing the Region of General Hooker's Advance, and the Roads, etc. near the Chickahominy, upon which our Troops are now Encamped." Plus most of the balance of the ftpg. is taken up with Civil War reporting with heads including: "The Second Struggle on the Field of the Seven Pines" "A Full Account of the Fighting of Wednesday..." "A Series of Brilliant Skirmishes" and a bit more (see photos).
Plus there is another Civil War map on the back page headed: "The Engagement on James Island, Near Charleston, S.C." and additional column heads on the battles (see). Some additional war reporting inside.
Eight pages, very nice, clean condition.
