* Timothy Pickering & France relations

The front page is mostly taken up with various correspondences involving Sec. of State Timothy Pickering concerning relations with France after they captured some 200 American vessels on the high seas. Page 2 has an address from the House to the President concerning this issue, with his response signed in type: John Adams. Page 2 also has a letter signed in type by: Buonaparte.
Four pages, nice condition.
