CONCORD HERALD, New Hampshire, Feb. 14, 1793 On page 2 under "South of the Ohio" is a report about an Indian attack in Jefferson County (Ky.) on the Little Pigeon in which three women & two children were killed "...with tomahawks and a war club....". Also word that "a Mrs. Crocket" & eight children were killed on the frontiers of Georgia by Cherokees.
