THE MASSACHUSETTS MAGAZINE, Boston, April, 1792  Although many years ago we had a nice inventory of 18th century American magazines, we find them to be very scarce today.
Among the articles in this issue are: "Account of the Buffalo" (lacking the plate called for); "Thoughts on the Origin of Coal Mines" "On the Vanity of Riches" "Description of a Lapland Family" " and one titled: "Utility of Electrick Conductors, by Dr. Franklin". Also: "Memoirs of the late Professor Winthrop" "Description of the...Rattle Snake" and much more.
Near the back is: "An Act Relative to the Election of a President and Vice President of the United States & Declaring the Officer who shall act as President in case of Vacancies in the Offices both of President and Vice President" which takes over a full page. Much reporting on: "Congressional Proceedings". The "Domestick Chronicle" has news reports from each of the states.
Complete in 64 pages, 5 by 8 inches, minor foxing, very nice condition with full title/contents page. Printed by the renowned Isaiah Thomas.
