Page 2 has a report headed "Maryland--Important Decision" says that the Legislature of Maryland rejected "in toto" the Virginia Resolutions concerning the Alien & Sedition Acts, their opinion being: "...that no state government by a legislative act is competent to declare an act of the federal government unconstitutional and void."
Page 3 has an address from the leaders of the Protestant Episcopal Church of Connecticut to the President referencing civil & religious liberty, his gracious reply, signed in type: John Adams.
