THE LONDON CHRONICLE, England, June 16, 1764 An inside page has a letter: "...from Ispamahad" in India, which mentions the Patna Massacre (the hyperlink has further details). The same page has: "...a letter from Johnson Hall, America..." which concerns trouble with Indians, including: "I have now upon service 400 friendly Indians who will be able to free your province from the incursions of the Delawares. The Senecas have been so greatly alarmed at the bodies of Indians sent out...". Also another letter datelined "New York" concerning a skirmish with Indians (see).
There is also a report from the New York Mercury containing a letter which references the Treaty of Peace of Feb. 10, 1764 (see). Another page has: "Letters form NewYork...by the articles of peace agreed on by the Five Nations & Sir William Johnson, they are to cede to his Majesty all the country from Niagara to above the Great Falls on both sides of the river..." (see).
